I have a compulsion to make things. I want to make what only I can make. I was drawing and painting before I could walk. I've been playing the drums since I was 14. I've dreamed of making video games since I played Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. I've had some opportunities, but haven't scratched that itch yet. I've been making board games for the past four years. They're special because they're like artwork you can pull off the wall and play together on the table.
I am a collaborator. You're paying me to turn my focus to your project. It makes sense to ask the right questions to make sure we're a good fit. I might ask: who is this for? What do you want them to feel? What excites you about this project?
If you asked what it feels like to be me, I'd say listen to Kate Bush's "Cloudbusting" or "The Fog". "Among Angels" is the most beautiful song I've ever heard, ever.
